Privacy Policy

Fund Source Group ("we", "us") operates a lead generation and referral service that connects business owners with third-party funding partners. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to make us stop. We are not a lender and we do not make credit decisions.

1. Information you give us

When you complete our application we collect:

• About your business: business name, industry, state, how long you have been operating, average monthly revenue, how much funding you are seeking, what it is for, and how soon you need it.
• About you: first and last name, email address and mobile phone number.
• Consent records: the exact disclosure text you agreed to, the date and time you agreed, your IP address, the page you agreed on, and a third-party consent certificate.

We do not ask for your credit score, your Social Security number, or your bank login.

2. Your credit information

If you check the credit authorization box on our application, you give us your written instruction under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, section 604(a)(2), to obtain a consumer report about you. Specifically:

• We request your credit score and related credit attributes from a consumer reporting agency through one of our service providers.
• This is a soft inquiry. It does not affect your credit score, it is not a hard credit check, and it is not visible to other lenders reviewing your file.
• We use it for one purpose: to determine which funding partner's criteria you meet. We do not use it to make a credit decision, because we do not make credit decisions.
• We share the resulting score band with the single funding partner you are matched with, so they can review your funding options.
• If you do not authorize it, we cannot review your credit and cannot match you with a partner on that basis.

3. Who we share it with

Your application is matched to one funding partner, chosen because the criteria they lend against match what you told us. Every partner we may share your application with is named at fundsourcegroup.com/partners.

We also use service providers who process data on our behalf, including our hosting provider, our text message verification provider, our consumer report provider, and our consent certification provider. They may only use your data to perform that service for us.

4. Communications, and how to stop them

If you check the contact consent box, you agree that we and the funding partner you are matched with may contact you at the phone number and email you provided, including by automated calls and text messages, about business funding. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply.

You can withdraw consent at any time, by any reasonable method:

• Reply STOP to any text message
• Email jack@athelion.io
• Tell whoever calls you that you want to be removed

We add you to our internal do-not-contact list and honour the request within 10 business days. Once you are on that list, our system will not route your details to any partner again. We also pass your request to the partner you were matched with, but they maintain their own list and you may need to tell them directly as well.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your consent records, meaning the disclosure text you agreed to, the timestamp, your IP address and your phone verification record, for at least four years. This is deliberate: it is the evidence that you gave permission, and it protects both you and us if a contact is ever disputed. We keep the rest of your application only as long as needed to operate the service and meet our legal obligations.

6. Phone verification

Before your application is submitted we text a one-time passcode to the number you provided and you must enter it. This confirms the number is real and belongs to you. If you do not complete it, no application is created and nothing is shared with anyone.

7. Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection. Access to stored applications is restricted and key-protected. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we do not store credit reports, Social Security numbers or bank credentials at all.

8. Cookies and advertising

We use cookies and advertising pixels, including from Meta, to measure which of our advertisements bring people to this site. We may share a hashed, non-readable version of your email or phone number with those platforms for the sole purpose of attributing an advertisement. You can control this through your browser settings and through the ad settings of the relevant platform.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy, to request deletion, and to opt out of sale or sharing. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act you also have the right to know what a consumer reporting agency holds about you and to dispute anything inaccurate, by contacting that agency directly. To exercise any of these rights, email jack@athelion.io. We will not discriminate against you for doing so.

10. Children

This service is for business owners and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we share your information will be reflected here before they take effect.
